G legenda
Predstavljen krajem 1970-tih, Mercedesov Geländewagen ili kraće G klasa još i danas spada u domenu najboljih terenaca na globusu. Dobitna formula se ne mijenja, pa tako terenska legenda ostaje u ponudi.
Nakon nebrojenih facelifta koji nisu nimalo ublažili kutijastu vanjštinu modela G klasa je prije godinu dana temeljito obnovljena. Iako je sve na prvi pogled ostalo isto, modelu je unaprijeđen interijer, a i tehnološki je moderniziran.
U novoj modelskoj godini jedina novost je revidirana AMG izvedba. Punim imenom Mercedes G 55 AMG, pogonjen je kompresorski potpomognutim 5.4 V8 monstrumom kojem je sada snaga povećana na 373 kW/507 KS, dok je maksimalni okretni moent zadržan na okruglih 700 Nm.
Performanse su ostale neizmijenjene što u prijevodu znači 5,5 sekundi za sprint do 100 km/h i maksimalna brzina limitirana na 210 km/h. Mjenjač je i dalje automatski s pet stupnjeva prijenosa.
I u poglavlju sigurnosti Mercedes upisuje jednu novost. Naime, ESP sustav je opremljen novim upravljačkim sustavom s ciljem optimiziranja rada. Također, tu je i Hill Start sustav pomoći pri kretanju na uzbrdici.
Što se estetike tiče, ona je unaprijeđena novim dizajnom naplataka promjera 19 inča s pneumaticima mjera 275/55, te blago revidiranom prednjom maskom. Točka na i dolazi u obliku obilatog korištenja krom dekoracije. Iznutra stara priča, jednaka doza robusnosti upakirana u vrhunski luksuz.
Na popisu opcija nalazimo i jednu novost, klimatizirana sjedala presvučena najfinijom kožom. Da, interijer u kombinaciji kože i plemenitog drva isporučuje se serijski, kao i Command APS telematika s 4 Gb memorije, 6,5-inčnim zaslonom i utorom za SD karticu.
Obnovljeni Mercedes G 55 AMG na tržištu će se naći u septembru, i to isključivo u produljenoj izvedbi s pet vrata. Na njemačkom tržištu model starta cijenom od 121.618 eura, što je neznatno više u odnosu na trenutno aktuelnu izvedbu.
